Regarding aluminum in deodorant, a medical student said the worst part of working with cadavers was getting to the armpit. The skin inside would be completely black and stiff, not allowing anything to pass through. Well, it seems that aluminum doesn’t allow toxins to escape the body in the same way it doesn’t allow sweat out. So please, for your own sake, be aware that what goes onto your skin goes into your body.
Depending on the substance up to 60%, and sometimes more, can be absorbed through your skin and into your blood stream. It is how nicotine patches and birth control patches work.
